Generally available all year from Europe and the USA, also known as Witloof. Store between 32-34 degrees F, keep covered from light, and dry. Store away from odoriferous foods like onions, garlic, and the like. Approximately 2-3 pieces per pound. May be enjoyed both raw and cooked.
